Thanksgiving Food Drive

Attention Colonels! Next week kicks off the Thanksgiving Food Drive. You can drop off donations of non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, stuffing, & cranberry sauce, in the bucket of a tractor before school. Let’s try and fill the bucket every day! After next week, there will be a table in the front lobby with representatives from NHS collecting donations. The drive runs from the 10th of November to the 20th!

Pickleball Tournament

On November 20th, from 2:30-5:00pm, PALESTRA is sponsoring a doubles pickleball tournament! The cost is $10.00 per team, and each team should consist of two people. The first 20 teams to sign up and pay get free t-shirts. Sign up in the cafeteria during lunch! See Olivia Lyon to volunteer

Water Bottles

Attention all students: Beginning next week, Student Congress will be selling beautiful, 20-ounce, custom water bottles during lunch for $8. The sale of these water bottles will help us recoup much of the cost of the purchase and installation of 4 new water bottle filling stations, which are coming to our hallways soon! Please help us support this effort. Get one of these cool new Colonel water bottles and support increased sustainability in our school!

Picture Retakes

​Picture retakes. Picture retakes are Monday, October 26, in the Agri-Science Library. Students seeking retakes must bring back their original picture packet in order to sit for retakes. The schedule for retakes is as follows:

• Grade 9 retakes: 9:30am
• Grade 10 retakes: 10:15am
• Grade 11 retakes: 11:30am^​
• Students who were absent: 12:00 noon

Schedule for PSAT Day

7:30am         All juniors and any testing sophomores go to their testing rooms, anyone else goes to the cafe

7:42am         PSAT testing begins

10:20am         Second run buses begin to arrive; students will report to the auditorium

10:30am         PSAT testing should end

10:40am         Academic day begins; library is closed (extra time testing location)
