Announcements

Unified Sports. Practice is cancelled this Wednesday, 10/19, due to the early dismissal.  Please wear your team shirt next Monday and be ready for our game that afternoon at Fitch High School.

Fall Blood Drive. Student Congress is hosting its fall Blood Drive on Monday, October 31. Sign-ups begin in the cafe Monday, October 17.  Anyone 17 years or over is eligible to give blood.  Given the recent damage from Hurricane Matthew, need is greater than ever.  Please consider donating and sign up in the cafeteria today.

Poet Laureate. It is with great pleasure that we introduce senior Allison Antcliff as the 2016-17 Poet Laureate. Look for her work on Inner Visions, in ​the Colonel News, and at major events such as NHS induction and graduation.
Lost and Found. The accumulation of clothing in the lost and found could outfit a small village. Missing a hoodie? A pair of sweats? 

Help with Sets for Play

This Saturday from 9-1 in the auditorium. 

Additional set build dates are October 29 and November 5, also from 9-1. 

No experience necessary just a desire to build and have fun. See Mr. Hammond for details

PSATs Wednesday

On Wednesday, October 19, our junior class, as well as many of the sophomores, will take the PSAT. There is no school for non-testing sophomores and any students in grades 9 and 12. There is an 11:30am dismissal for all testing students.

Four and a Half Day Weekend then Spirit Week!!

Friday is a half day and there is no school on Monday or Tuesday!!! Then Wednesday through Friday is Spirit "Week." Pep rally is Friday. I believe they are running the old morning meeting schedule all week, so we can count spirit points for the dress up days, which are:

• Thursday: (Oct 13) Safari
• Friday: (Oct 14) Class Color (green for juniors)

Exams Next Week!

Mid-term exams are next week, Monday through Thursday. No school on Friday, unless you need to make up an exam, so that's a 4-day weekend (no-school Monday for MLK Day). Here is the exam schedule.
